Is the price stated in the price quotation total?
In price quotations we always state the estimated price for coach, minibus or minivan hire. This price is usually final – including all fees or charges. If there are any not-included fees, we state them extra. These are usually things such as parking fees, tunnels entrance fees, ferries, city entrance fees, accommodation of drivers… These items can´t be specified in advance and their amount is changed often. Customers can pay these items separately (for example travel agencies pay by means of the tour guide) or after an individual agreement could be paid by the driver. After the transport we charge for additional expenses in the final invoice for transportation.

How long after my request could I expect my price quotation?
We usually send price quotations by e-mail until 24 hours. We´ll draw up simple price calculations (e.g. transfer Bratislava – Vienna) on the same working day, but usualy until 2 hours. Complex price quotations (e.g. 2 weeks coach tour in Europe) need our individual approach and could take more than 24 hours to prepare. Simultaneously with pricing we check the availability of appropriate vehicle to ensure the service in case of price acceptation. If your request is really urgent, please call us.
Payment options – what options do I have when paying a coach hire in SBT?
After confirmation of your order SBT offers you following payment options when paying a proforma invoice: bank transfer, credit card payment, Pay Pal payment (but we are preparing more payment options for comfort of our clients).
I received several similar price quotations for coach rental (hire). I don´t understand lots of information in price quotation, many additional fees, extras etc. How should I decide, could you help me?

Why is the price in price quotation estimated?
Estimated price – during the transport some expected, but also some unexpected expenses affecting the final price can arise. We aren ´t always able to predict these expenses and they could change during the coach, minibus or passenger car hire.
Practical examples:
- During the planned journey a customer decides to see one more attraction / sight and the bus makes 30 km more than previously calculated.
- After client´s special request the driver has to use a payed parking.
- On the road (which was previously planned for the bus trip) there are some unexpected repair works in progress and a toll motorway has to be used for alternate route.
These are some of examples, when the total cost of hire could arise and why we use the term Estimated price in the price quotation. After the transport we charge for additional expenses in the final invoice for transportation.
In majority of our price quotations the estimated price is also the final price. Clients are always notified of possible extra expenses by our sales managers or drivers.

What should I do, if my flight is delayed, or perhaps even cancelled?
When you order an airport transfer with SBT, we always ask you for your flight details (departure city, arrival time and flight number). This allows us to monitor your flight and we know about eventual changes and adapt to actual situation. We´ll let you know about the solution and change of scheduled transfers by phone. But if you would like to inform us about any unexpected situation, please CONTACT US.
Who should I call in case of any problems during the night transfer?
We´ll contact you before the transfer and give you driver´s contact details with mobile phone number. Except of this we have a 24/7 HOTLINE: +421 908 099 116 number where we´ll gladly help you even during the night.
How will I meet the driver at the airport after my arrival?
Your driver will be waiting in the arrival hall with your name or the name of your group (previously agreed). He´ll guide you to your vehicle, help you with the luggage and transport you safely to your desination address. To avoiding any complications few days prior to the transport we e-mail to our clients drivers details (incl. the phone number) and our HOTLINE: +421 908 099 116.
I need a bus to collect participants of a conference from all over Slovakia. How should I schedule departure times for each city / town/?
Leave everything to us. In case you would like to order collection of participants on the route, please send either the departure time from the first address or a the arrival time to your final destination and all stops on the route. Members of our team will consult your itinerary and recommend you most effective solutions. We´ll provide you with a schedule showing departures times for each city.
When I rent a bus or minibus, how do I know if I need one or two drivers?

In SBT we draw up price quotations individualy for each transportation and while we work on your price quotation we already calculate, wether the client will need 1 or 2 drivers. How long in advance should I order the coach or minibus hire?
We recommend to book your transport asap. This will prevent a lack of quality vehicles at the market, higher prices for last minute hire and chasing a suitable bus rental company.
You only need to know dates, an approximate number of passengers and to have the an itinerary for you journey. Details and little changes could be added shortly before your trip. SBT can guarantee lower prices, if you ask for a price quotation in advance. We can tailor the price much better to your needs and also we have much bigger choice of available buses and minibuses.

Where about is the driver comming to pick us up when we have booked a transfer to the airport?
Your vehicle with the driver will be waiting at the address stated in your order. If the address is not accessible by car or bus, or the parking is in a conflict with traffic regulations, we´ll contact you in advance and arrange together with you a suitable place for meeting with the bus, minibus or passenger car.
Where can I find a transfer duration from / to a specific airport so I could book my transfer correctly and plan everything?
You can find the transfer duration for specific airport and vehicle type in pricelists of airport transfers. Transfer duration could change depending on a real traffic situation, which we are carefully watching for you and adapting to it flexibly.
To which airports is it possible to book an airport transfer from SBT?
We most commonly operate airport transfers from Bratislava to most frequented airports in surrounding states: Slovakia – Airport Bratislava, Austria – Airport Vienna (Schwechat), Hungary – Airport Budapest a Czech Republic – Airport Prague. How is the transportation organised by multiple arrivals (e.g. transportation to conference or international seminar)?
In the arrival hall clients will be guided by a coordinator or a hostess according to previously agreed instructions. After that a driver (who is in contact with the coordinator) will take care of clients. I am booking a limousine transfer for my boss from England. Do all drivers speak English?
Drivers, who drive often to airport to pick-up clients, speak English. However, it is not the rule. Therefore, when entering your requirements do not forget to write which language should your driver speak. We´ll always try to meet your wishes, but it´s not always possible. For this kind of situations we offer you telephone assistance, and if necessary a member of our team will help to solve any problem. We speak several languages, we´ll manage this easily. For multiple transfers (e.g. arrivals of participants of conference) there will be a transportation coordinator with English language knowledge.
Do you charge extra for aiport transfers parking fees and demurrage charges (waiting) or are they already included in the transfers price?
For comfort of our clients in SBT we always keep our eyes on arrivals / departures and minimize payments of any extra fees at airports. That is why we charge additional fees only exceptionally (usually during larger events with multiple transfers). The price of the transfer includes 30 minutes of waiting and parking fees, that is enough for the pick-up of clients.
For the vast majority of airport transfers we don´t charge any additional fees.
We charge potential additional fees on the base of valid pricelist of airports (parking lots) and we include copies of cash receipts for parking to your final invoice.
Approximate additional charges:
- parking fees: 4 – 15 EUR / every commenced hour*
- fees for waiting: cca 10 – 40 EUR / every commenced hour*
*The amount of fees depends on the vehicle type (passenger car, minibus or tour coach / bus) and specific airport. What if I have already paid the deposit and I need to cancel the order? Will you return my payment to me? And how?
You can cancel every order up to 1 000 EUR free until 10 working days prior to transportation. Cooperation settings on orders over 1 000 EUR are individual – always according to an agreement or contract with the client. A due date of proforma invoices is usualy set for a date about 2 weeks prior to the transportation. So the payment is usually charged 2 weeks prior to your transport date.
If you cancel the order until 10 working days prior to transportation, but you have already paid, we´ll return the payment to your account. If you cancel the order later than 10 working days prior to transportation, we´ll return the appropriate amount according to cancellation policy. Is it possible to pay in cash directly to the driver?
Usually we avoid this possibility, the driver should drive in the first place and not to receive payments from clients. But in certain cases, when we have to react quickly for specific situation, we can arrange it. The driver gives an invoice straight to the client when he receives cash payment, the client receives the invoice straightaway or we´ll deliver it after the transportation by e-mail or mail.
We kindly ask our clients to avoid this option and not to complicate their transportation. In the age of internetbanking i tis better to solve these situations on a non-cash bases and stress-free.
Do I have to pay in advance or after the service? Where can I find payment conditions?
Usually you pay 2 weeks prior to the service based on proforma invoice, but this is individual, specific conditions fit to each client. With a long-term cooperation we offer our clients individual payment conditions.

Binding order – what does it exactly mean?
It means you have confirmed the order and accepted our Terms and conditions. The passenger car, minibus or tour coach are booked for you according to data in your order and you can continue with the payment process following received instructions. How can I order the tranpsortation, if I already know the price e.g. from price list on your website or from previous orders?
There are more options how to order the transportation:
1/ You can send the order (vehicle booking confirmation) simply by e-mail to info@slovakiabustravel.com. The order should include your invoicing details, transportation details and agreed price (attached price quotation from previous communication).*
2/ For some transfers prices are fixed directly on the SBT web site and there is a possibility to book the transportation through a button on the web site and via order form send the order (vehicle booking confirmation). Look at price lists in AIRPORT TRANSFERS a COACH TRIPS.*
3/ In urgent cases you can order the transportation by phone.*

When we miss some data needed for drawing up the price quotation, a member of our team will contact you by phone and complete necessary details. Do you reply to all price quotations requests?
We reply to all proper price quotation requests. We are a respectable partner for our clients and we do not waste time and energy responding to speculative requests from fictive e-mail addresses, spams or fictitious requests from competitors etc…
We reserve the right not to reply to: requests with not properly filled-in details about clients-e.g. „wDodoWkjfkls“ instead of a real company name, requests with fictive name or non-existing phone number, e-mail address etc. Also we reserve the right not to reply to requests, that don´t include data essential for price quotations, especially after several repeated notices from SBT to completion of data.

Is the price quotation really free? Aren´t there any hidden extra fees? Price quotation for coach rental, minibus or passenger car hire as well as any additional services, is really free. In SBT we don´t charge any fees for drawing up the price quotation, nor for any relevant services.
I have forgotten my personal belongings in one of SBT´s buses during our company´s event. Who can I contact?
Any lost property of our clients are immediately reported by the driver or our partners to SBT. We contact our customer´s contact person and let them know about lost-and-found property. Vehicles are checked after each journey / transfer by the driver, but this is not always possible (e.g. during a shuttle bus service of a big event, where passengers are stepping off and on and many people are transported). Clients are responsible for their belongings. Of course we are always doing our best to find lost property and get it back to customers.
